As Seen With Rory, Steph & Se Ri · PGA Tour Hole-in-One

Meet Rob-OT.
The world's only robot golfer.

He rolls up on his own wheels, looks your guests in the eye, calls his own shot, and hits it further than anyone in the field. He's aced the 16th at TPC Scottsdale, out-chipped Steph Curry on ABC, and traded shots with Rory McIlroy and Se Ri Pak on camera. Now he's booking your event.

A golf experience like no other.

Rob-OT was built by Golf Laboratories in San Diego to test clubs for the world's biggest OEMs. Somewhere along the way, brands and broadcasters realized he was also the most entertaining thing you could put on a tee. Here's where he's been.

Rory vs. The Robot.

The European Tour's original head-to-head between the world's best golfer and a machine. Rory McIlroy and Rob-OT traded shots at washing-machine targets on the range — including a washer suspended 75 feet in the air. The film has been viewed millions of times and is still the reference point when anyone in golf says "robot golfer."

Waste Management Phoenix Open · TPC Scottsdale

The only robot ever to ace the 16th.

On the loudest hole in golf — the stadium par-3 at TPC Scottsdale — Rob-OT (as LDRIC) stepped onto the tee in front of 20,000 fans and made a hole-in-one during the pro-am. Beer cups flew, the crowd lost its mind, and the moment ran on every sports network in the country. It remains the first and only robot hole-in-one in PGA Tour history.

Holey Moley · ABC · Executive Producer: Stephen Curry

Out-chipped Steph Curry on primetime.

ABC and Steph Curry's Unanimous Media brought Rob-OT onto the debut season of Holey Moley. On a 55-yard chip from the "Caddysmack" hole, contestants got to choose between hitting with Curry or hitting with the robot. Steph's shot was good. Rob-OT's was closer. Season one, episode one — and the moment the internet decided the robot had game.

SBS Korea · Match of the Century: AI vs. Human

Beat Se Ri Pak on national television.

SBS flew Rob-OT to Muju Anseong Country Club for a primetime special pitting Korea's greatest golfer against a machine. Across chip shots and putts from 3 and 5 meters, Rob-OT out-performed the LPGA Hall-of-Famer and her partner, actor Kim Sang-joong. The Dong-A newspaper headline said it all: "Pak Se-ri kneels down before AI-powered golf robot."

Charity Champ at the 35th American Century.

At the 35th Annual American Century Championship — the celebrity major that draws Steph Curry, Tony Romo, Aaron Rodgers and Charles Barkley to Lake Tahoe every July — Rob-OT arrived as the tournament's “Charity Champ.” Wrapped in cause branding and stationed on a signature hole, he hit alongside the celebrity field all week under the #BuyTheBall program. Every ball he struck raised money for the tournament's charitable partners.

Went head-to-head with Grant Horvat on MrBeast.

MrBeast flew Rob-OT out for the penultimate challenge of his human-vs-machine special, introducing him to 300 million subscribers as “the most precise golf robot in the world.” The matchup: YouTube golf's golden boy Grant Horvat against Rob-OT, hitting a range of targets from 125, 150, and 165 yards for a point in the human-vs-machine showdown. Grant hit one. Rob-OT hit all three — back-to-back-to-back bullseyes — tying the overall competition 3-3 and forcing the finale.

He's the only signage at your event that swings a club.
— What every sponsor figures out about ten minutes into the shotgun.

Three reasons event planners keep re-booking him.

Rob-OT isn't a photo backdrop or a step-and-repeat. He's a live performer with ten years of TV credits — engineered to draw a crowd, delivered turnkey, and built to make sponsors visible in every phone in the field.

01 / Crowd Magnet

He is the moment.

Every group in the field stops at his hole. They stay to watch him swing, they talk to him, they film him, they post the video. That's your event's organic reach — earned, not paid.

02 / Sponsor Vehicle

Branded panels, eye level.

Decal panels on the chassis and body carry sponsor logos into every photo taken at the hole. The only piece of signage at your event that moves, performs, and lives in the highlight reel.

03 / Turnkey Show

Trailered. Manned. Insured.

Rob-OT arrives on his own trailer, rolls to the tee on turf tires, and runs off a standard outlet. A Golf Laboratories operator drives him all day. Setup is roughly 45 minutes.

He looks your guests in the eye. Then he talks to them.

Rob-OT isn't a machine that quietly hits balls in a cage. A high-brightness display on his head plays his face — smiling, side-eyeing, celebrating a made putt — while an on-board audio rig delivers his voice through the tee box. Every shot becomes a bit.

Rob-OT's on-board display showing his animated face outdoors against a blue sky

An interactive character, not a driving-range machine.

The face is animated live. The voice is scripted for your event — brand callouts, prize announcements, guest names, roast lines, the occasional Steph Curry impression. Guests don't just watch him swing. They talk to him. He talks back.

  • Animated LCD faceA sunlight-readable display shows expressions in real time — smirks, wide eyes on a big drive, a nod when a guest steps up to hit.
  • On-board voice & PAPowered speaker on the chassis carries his voice to the whole tee box. Custom scripts written for your event — brand mentions, sponsor thank-yous, prize hooks.
  • Call your guests by nameOperator queues lines from a tablet as the group steps up. “Nice tempo, Mike. Try to keep up.” Every group gets their own moment.
  • Reactive to the shotMade putt, cheer. Beat him, mock-outrage. Missed the green, sympathy. The face and voice both react in real time to what just happened on the tee.
  • Photo-and-video readyGuests film him talking to their group. That's the clip that ends up on LinkedIn Monday morning — with your sponsor logo across his chest.

Built for three kinds of days.

The activation looks different depending on what you're planning — but the effect is the same. People stop, watch, film, and remember.

Give one hole something no other hole can have.

Scrambles, member-guests, pro-ams, celebrity outings. Rob-OT sets up on a signature par 3 or contest hole and stays there for the full shotgun. Every group that rotates through gets the same moment — and the sponsor logo on his chassis rides through every photo.

  • Beat the RobotHe hits first. Any group that lands inside him wins the sponsor's prize. Zero scoring overhead.
  • Closest to the Pin, robot-setHis shot is the mark; leaderboard runs itself; you just read out the winner at dinner.
  • Buy-a-Swing fundraiserGuests pay per shot for Rob-OT to hit on their behalf. Proceeds go to the cause — the upsell that pays for the activation.
  • Range clinic or long-drive demoBefore the shotgun or during the reception, he runs a demo — replicating swings, showing ball flight, out-driving the field.

The activation that pays for itself.

Charity tournaments live or die on two numbers: how many people show up, and how much each guest gives. Rob-OT moves both. He's the reason mid-tier donors say yes to the outing, and he's the reason they open their wallet a second time on the course.

  • Headline the invite"Play against the robot from the Waste Management ace" is a subject line that gets opened.
  • Buy-a-Swing revenue driverGuests pay $20-$100 per shot for the robot to hit for them. Direct-to-cause funds you weren't going to raise otherwise.
  • Auction-lot fuel"Private clinic with Rob-OT" and "hit alongside the robot" have both cleared five figures at silent auctions.
  • Press-worthy on its ownLocal news covers charity outings that have something to shoot. He's something to shoot.

Client entertainment that beats a suite.

Company offsites, client days, product launches, trade-show activations. Wrap the chassis in your brand, station him at the tee or on the show floor, and give every guest a story to bring back to the office. He's cheaper than a suite, more memorable than a swag bag, and works indoors on a hitting mat if you need him to.

  • Full-body brand wrapThe chassis becomes your billboard. Every photo, every video, every post carries your logo.
  • Trade-show booth magnetIndoor version with a hitting net. Traffic to your booth increases the moment he takes his first swing.
  • Product-launch spectacleLaunching a driver? A ball? A course? He'll demo it in front of an audience — and you get the b-roll.
  • Executive off-site closerThe Friday afternoon activity people are still telling their spouses about on Monday.
